Commemorate Veterans Day at St. Paul’s Church. At 11am a brief ceremony in the church is followed by placing commemorative wreaths in the burial ground and a tour exploring the lives and service of soldiers in the historic cemetery. The tour focuses on veteran, Edward Patterson, of the 1840’sMexican-American War.

At 1pm, music historian Robert Cohen presents and interprets musical recordings of the WWII era, spotlighting themes from the site’s current feature exhibition, A Special Role: St. Paul’s and World War II“.

At 2:30pm, a talk by historian Paul Gettler explores the Mexican American War.
